HAND CAR WASH

Hand Wash Questions

Do I need to book in advance for a hand car wash?

No appointment is needed for our hand car wash packages. Just drive in during opening hours and we'll take care of you straight away.

How long does a hand car wash take?

Our Wash Only and Gold Pack take approximately 45 minutes. The Platinum Pack takes 60–90 minutes depending on the vehicle.

What's included in each hand wash package?

  • Wash Only ($25 / SUV $35): Hand wash, chamois dry, tyre shine, outside windows, rim clean
  • Gold Pack ($60 / SUV $80): Everything above plus inside vacuum, boot vacuum, window clean inside and out
  • Platinum Pack ($100 / SUV $120): Everything in Gold Pack plus dashboard wipe, door sill clean, interior spray, tyre dressing

How does the loyalty card work?

Buy 9 washes on any package and your 10th wash is free. Ask our team for your loyalty card on your first visit.

What products do you use?

We use pH-balanced, paint-safe cleaning agents and soft microfibre mitts throughout. No harsh chemicals, no abrasive materials.

Why is hand washing better than an automated car wash?

Automated machines use stiff brushes that create micro-scratches and swirl marks over time. Hand washing with soft mitts is gentler on your paint, more thorough, and produces a better finish.

CAR DETAILING

Detailing Questions

Do I need to book in advance for car detailing?

Yes — we recommend calling ahead for detailing services so we can allocate the right amount of time. Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability.

How long does car detailing take?

A Mini Detail typically takes 2–3 hours. A Full Detail takes 3–5 hours depending on vehicle size and condition.

What's included in the Mini Detail?

Hand wash, chamois dry, tyre shine, wheel clean, inside vacuum including boot, window clean inside and out, door jambs clean, dashboard and console treated, hand polish, bumper and plastic clean and rejuvenate, carpet or seat steam clean (5 seats).

What's included in the Full Detail?

Everything in the Mini Detail plus full interior trims clean and rejuvenate, leather clean and polish, full upholstery steam clean, carpet and mats steam clean, and boot steam clean.

How often should I get my car detailed?

For most drivers, every 3–6 months is recommended. If you have kids, pets, or high mileage, more frequent detailing helps maintain the interior and protect the exterior.

Will detailing remove bad odours from my car?

Yes — interior detailing includes deep cleaning and deodorising. Steam cleaning upholstery and carpets is highly effective at eliminating embedded odours.

What should I do before bringing my car in for detailing?

Remove personal belongings from the interior so our team can clean every surface thoroughly. That's all you need to do.

Can detailing improve my car's resale value?

Yes. A well-maintained interior and exterior holds value. A professionally detailed car presents significantly better at the time of sale or trade-in.

POLISHING

Polishing Questions

Polishing is a precision process designed to restore shine and remove surface imperfections from your clear coat. We believe in setting realistic expectations—while we can dramatically reduce the visibility of swirl marks and light damage, deep scratches may require specialized correction. Here's what you need to know about our polishing services.

What's the difference between Claybar & Polish and Cut & Polish?

Claybar & Polish is a lighter treatment — it decontaminates the paint and restores shine with a hand polish. Cut & Polish uses a machine buffer to remove deeper scratches and swirl marks. We'll assess your paint and recommend the right option.

Will polishing remove all scratches?

Polishing removes surface-level scratches and swirl marks within the clear coat. Deep scratches that have broken through to the paint or primer may not be fully removed, but polishing can significantly reduce their visibility. We'll be honest with you at inspection.

How long does polishing take?

Claybar & Polish takes approximately 2–3 hours. Cut & Polish takes 3–5 hours depending on vehicle size and paint condition.

How often should I polish my car?

Once or twice a year is sufficient for most vehicles. If you use automated car washes regularly or park outdoors, more frequent polishing may be needed.

Should I get paint protection after polishing?

Yes — polishing prepares the paint surface, making it the ideal time to apply ceramic coating. We can combine polishing and paint protection into one visit. Ask us when you book.

PAINT PROTECTION

Ceramic Coating Questions

Protect your investment with a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's clear coat. Unlike traditional waxes, ceramic coating offers years of durable protection, intense gloss, and effortless maintenance.

What is ceramic coating?

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with your vehicle's clear coat, creating a permanent protective layer. Unlike wax, which sits on the surface and wears off in weeks, ceramic coating lasts for years.

How long does ceramic coating last?

A professionally applied ceramic coating typically lasts 2–5 years depending on the product, maintenance, and environmental conditions.

Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?

Ceramic coating adds hardness to your clear coat and resists light scratches and swirl marks better than bare paint. It won't prevent deep scratches from keys or stone chips, but it significantly reduces surface-level damage.

Can I apply ceramic coating to a new car?

Yes — a new car is the ideal candidate. Applying ceramic coating before the paint is exposed to contaminants gives you maximum protection from day one.

How do I maintain a ceramic coated car?

Regular hand washing is all that's needed. Avoid automated car wash brushes and harsh chemicals. We'll provide a full aftercare guide at handover.

What's included in the Additional Protection Package?

The Additional Package ($299 / SUV $399) includes leather coating and trim restoration. It's an add-on to the Ceramic Coating package, not a standalone service.
